Tips for a smooth design process

Communication is key.

It doesn’t matter whether you already have a website that needs a makeover or are starting from scratch. The first things you want to communicate are.
1.) What do you want your site to look like?
2.) What do you want it to do?
A great way to help explain this is to provide links to other websites you have seen and liked. Maybe there are some features of one...  and the look of another? These visual aids and communication, make it clear to us what you are looking for.
Now as far as business needs are concerned. It is great to make known where you are with your business now, and what you want your new website to do to reach your business goals.
For Example:
Will you need estimate forms? Client or customer surveys, reviews or testimonial options. Interactive features like leaving comments or uploading pictures videos?
Do you need a secure payment portal for clients to pay bills?
Will you have products to sell on the site that you want to be able to expand on? Do you need a full e-commerce solution right from the start?
Expressing to us how you want to grow the business, will let the designer plan ahead and build the website to accommodate the upcoming features and functions.
At FMS Digital Media we know that cookie-cutter solutions don’t work, and what might be a good website for one business won’t be for another business. We really do strive to have your website help you increase your business.
