Prepare for better promotions right from the start
A good Gmail and matching Google Account can solve or even avoid promotions & marketing problems.
1.) It gives you a presentable business related email address.

Taking the time to select a quality domain name is probably first above all. With your domain name, there are factors like length of name, search-ability, easy to say, spell, remember, etc… We have discussed that in another post.
However, right after that may be coming up with a good g-mail address to match and use for your business. Many of us will already have a personal Gmail. Yet having one that matches your business is even better. There are multiple reasons for this. First is the more professional appearance, but there also is the number of self-promotion outlets Google has available, which all want you to use a Gmail address to sign up and manage.
2.) Let’s you bring everything under one roof as it were.
Your Business Profile is the first!
Yes, Google will discover and set up a business profile automatically in time. However, claiming those is a tougher challenge than just creating your own from the beginning. The Business profile also opens up your ability to write posts and add products to your profile directly. Plus all of the other features like reviews adding photos, keeping up with business hours, etc…
Then there is YouTube.
Should you want to share videos online via a YouTube channel they will want not just any email address. They want a Gmail address to link you to when signing up. The list of tools and features that go along with Gmail is lengthy, add to that the business promotions tools… it is always best to just put everything under one roof as it were.
So back to thinking of a “GOOD” name. Something that matches the business is best of course and keep in mind you do not need to use this Gmail in day-to-day conversations. This email is more for promotions so the business name. For example (PatsPlumbing@ ) is short and sweet, easy to remember, etc… However, it is more than likely already taken. So you can try adding your corporation suffix ( PatsPlumbingLLC@ ), (PatsPlumbingInc@ ). If you have trouble getting an email not already used, you can use your domain name. Yes, you can use ( PatsPlumbing.com@gmail.com ) and if you have registered that domain name with success the odds a very, I mean VERY good that it will be available as a Gmail/email address.
